I grew up in the countryside of Co. Meath in Ireland and without knowing it at the time my mum was a huge inspiration, always dressing our family home with flowers. I think this is where my passion for flowers began.

Fast forward 2 decades and I decided to leave a successful marketing management career at a large multi-national company to pursue my dream of working with flowers. At the time it was just a dream but I was determined to make it a reality.

I moved to London to train with a globally recognized, top florist. Following this time period I travelled back to Ireland with a vision to create something different. Ultimately working to deliver stylish and beautifully arranged flowers for weddings and events.

Along with creating and delivering beautiful wedding florals country wide, Spring 2015 saw Joeanna expand her business, with the opening of her first flower shop at Avoca Rathcoole, just off the N7. Joeanna also had a pop up Christmas store at Arnotts providing bespoke made to order Christmas floral arrangements. 2016 & 2017  saw her expand her business with the opening of her second and third stores at Avoca, Kilmacanogue and also Avoca, Dunboyne.

Commenting on the opening of her Avoca stores, Joeanna says, “It really gives you a chance to showcase your creativity on a daily basis while meeting really amazing lovely people”

She is also delighted to have been shortlisted for “Creative Business Woman of the Year” in the 10th and 11th IMAGE Businesswoman of the year Awards 2016, 2017 and is also currently shortlisted for the 2018 Creative Business Woman of the year.

 

Joeanna says herself; "I always aim to deliver inspirational, uplifting, and gorgeous floral arrangements to my clients. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work in an area I love. Working closely with brides and clients to bring their vision to fruition always gives me an enormous sense of fulfilment and that experience is what drives my brilliant team and I every day".
